Christina Duffy joined Roanoke Ballet Theatre for their 2020 season as a trainee, and was promoted to company at the start of their 2021 season. She began her training at Magnolia Dance Academy, then moved to Classical Ballet Centre to train under Melania Ballish Regueiro. Duffy has attended multiple summer intensives including Oklahoma City Ballet, SC Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, BalletMet, and Cincinnati Ballet. Duffy has performed in various roles including, Dew Drop and Clara in The Nutcracker, Girl in Blue in Les Patineurs, Swanhilda in Coppelia, and soloist role in Paquita. She has also performed multiple roles with Roanoke Ballet Theatre including, Enchanted Garden fairy and Jewels Pas de Trois from The Sleeping Beauty, Pas de trois in La Bayadere, Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as Marzipan, Chinese, and Spanish variations from The Nutcracker. She competed in YAGP 2019 and placed Top 12. She also passed the ABT National Training Curriculum with Merit.
