Grace Sauls was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her developmental training under Lynette Mason-Gregg of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Houston. Grace attended summer courses at Boston Ballet, Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Feijoo Ballet, and Olga Kostritzky’s intensive through the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. She was a soloist with Juxtapose Arts Collective where she also debuted as an emerging choreographer and performed her favorite role to date, Myrtha in Giselle. She shared the stage with renowned ballerina Misty Copeland in Open World Dance Foundation’s Cinderella at Houston Hobby Center and performed in New York with Gelsey Kirkland Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Ms. Sauls completed her training through Misha Bart with The National Theatre of Belgrade in Europe. Her repertoire from dancing professionally with Fort Wayne Ballet for two seasons includes, David Ingram’s Romeo & Juliet (The Duke), The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Giselle (Bathilde and Wili), and Dracula. Grace is excited to be joining Roanoke Ballet Theatre for her first season!
