Born and raised in Wisconsin, Rebekah began dancing at the age of 4 at local ballet school Steps of Grace in Brookfield, WI. Throughout high school, Rebekah trained with the Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy under the direction of Rolondo Yanes, where she performed in Milwaukee Ballet Company in productions such as The Nutcracker and the world premier of Michael Pink’s Beauty and the Beast. During her last year of high school, Rebekah danced in the trainee program at Milwaukee Ballet, performing alongside the second company, MBII, in Balanchine’s Serenade. Upon graduation, Rebekah was accepted into the ballet program at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), working towards earning her BFA in Ballet performance and BA in French studies. This is Rebekah’s first season with Roanoke Ballet Theatre.
