Erin McMahon is originally from Houston, TX where she trained under Caryn Stoll, Kathleen Waltz, Miroslav "Misha" Bart and Milena Leben before going to City Ballet of Houston. From there, she attended Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School where Erin performed with the company in numerous shows throughout the year.

After graduating high school, Erin attended the University of Utah where she received her BFA in Ballet, BS in Economics and minor in Modern Dance. She performed in numerous shows through the ballet and modern department and also as a guest artist with Salt Lake City Ballet.

Erin previously danced with Central West Ballet, where she performed soloist and principal roles under the direction of Rene Daveluy. She has had the opportunity to work with renowned teachers such as Oleg Vinogradov, Ronn Guidi, Margo Marshall, Soili Arvola, Leo Ahonen and Luis Fuentes. 

Ms McMahon is a 200 Hour Yoga Certified Teacher, Level One Character Dance Instructor under Inna Strabrova, and a Rhythm Works! Integrative Dancer Certified Teacher where she has taught Sensory Ballet to children on the Autism spectrum.

She has also performed multiple roles with Roanoke Ballet Theatre including, Snow Queen from The Nutcracker, Silver Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, and Helena from A Midsummer Night's Dream
