Antonia Rae is from Wilmington, Delaware where she started her ballet training at Wilmington Ballet Academy of the Dance with Victor Wesley, Barbra Sandonato, and Jorge Laico. While in her junior year of High School at Ursuline Academy, she began training at The School of Philadelphia Ballet in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her senior year of High School she trained in the trainee program at Philadelphia Ballet, where she performed with the company in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker and Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet both at the Academy of Music. Antonia Rae is in her Senior year at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music working towards her major in ballet and certificate in bioethics and is currently on co-operative education while dancing with Roanoke Ballet Theatre. She has performed soloist roles at the University of Cincinnati including Paquita set by Deidre Carberry, Les Sylphide set by Deidre Carberry and Pas de Quatre set by Tricia Sundbeck. She has had the opportunity to work with Joysanne Sidimus, Amy Seiwert, and Jennie Creer-King at the University of Cincinnati. Her sophomore year she made her choreographic debut with Shades of Green, a contemporary modern piece which premiered February 19, 2021. Since then, she has choreographed Shades of Impressions, a contemporary modern piece which premiered October 14, 2021. She choreographed and co-produced Pas De Deux, a classical ballet film which premiered December 9, 2021. She most recently directed, choreographed, and co-produced Sandbox, a dance film for her senior capstone project, which premiered April 25, 2022.
